World Rally Championship will have an unprecedented impact on the Paraguayan economy

Asunción, Agencia IP.- «The figures being considered for the event that will take place next year in our country are impressive,» highlighted Ricardo Deggeller, General Director of Sports at the National Sports Secretariat.

He added that it is initially estimated that around 10,000 hotel beds will be occupied, which could double or even triple, considering that the event typically attracts around 250,000 people in countries like Argentina or Chile.

Deggeller also revealed that the World Rally Championship will feature the presence of the top 6 automotive brands worldwide. “For us, it is a great challenge to ensure they have the best experience in the country,” he said in an interview with the Tribuna program on Paraguay TV.

He emphasized that the presence of these world-class automotive brands is another clear indication of the prestige this event has garnered. «Automotive companies have already shown great interest in Paraguay and are eager to learn more about our country,» he noted.

The World Rally Championship is one of the most important sporting events in the world. It has 16 dates across 14 nations on four continents.

Paraguay joins this select group, representing a significant challenge to boost tourism and the economy and position the country as a top destination for motorsports enthusiasts.
